About Zoe Gisela RichmondZoe Richmond lives in a house full of boys - her husband, two boys and a boxer. Currently, she is working as Communications Branch Manager for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation. She was recently a Communications Consultant for start-ups, non-profits and PR firms.
She was Public Affairs Director for Union Pacific for Arizona and New Mexico. As public affairs director she was a liaison for the railroad on community issues, monitored the state legislature and worked on special projects During her tenure she worked on major infrastructure projects, such as the Santa Teresa facility. Previously, she was based in Sacramento where she served as media director for Union Pacific’s Western region. Richmond was on the ground managing crisis communication during major derailments and other catastrophic train events. She came into the railroad industry through her role as executive director for Operation Lifesaver, a non-profit focused on rail safety where she her initiatives focused on diverse communities. Her first corporate position was at State Farm's corporate office where she was one of the first Spanish-language spokespersons. During her time in Bloomington Illinois, she got her Masters in English from Illinois State University. She got her bachelors degree from Northern Arizona University in journalism shortly after turning 19. Born and raised in Yuma Arizona, she now lives in fashionable Chandler, a suburb of Phoenix. |
